Our contribution to the "Tech for Humanity" Hackathon

Innovative ideation and collaboration at their best!

A few days ago, the Tech for Humanity hackathon brought together brilliant young minds at the Ίδρυμα Ευγενίδου / Eugenides Foundation, organised by the British Council.

A huge congratulations to the winning team, whose creative and impactful idea on tackling climate migration through synthetic biology stood out among the 8 talented teams! 🎉 We’re excited to see them take their message to the European stage during the study visit to Edinburgh.

It was a pleasure to witness Mike Lloyd sharing insights on humanising AI-driven technologies, which sparked meaningful discussions and ideas.

Our own Science 2 Business mentors—Faye OrfanouAnastasios Giannaros, and Konstantina Koutsioumpa—were proud to support the teams in refining their ideas and transforming them into powerful messages for change. We were equally thrilled to meet researchers Molly Katsouli and Conrad Landis from the Athena Research Center, whose expertise added immense value to the process.

The energy and collaboration we experienced during those days were truly inspiring. Kudos to all participants for their passion and commitment to shaping the future of technology for humanity!
